I Don't Belong Here

Project "I Don't Belong Here" is an attempt to answer questions that have concerned humanity for centuries: Who am I? What am I? What is my true self?
Are the choices I make in my professional life, in personal relationships, and in other areas truly my own? Or are they shaped by external circumstances, societal pressures, and upbringing?

By choosing the path of an artist, I strive to explore these questions using the visual language available to me. To understand how I exist in the everyday spaces of my life, I decided to “clone” myself. My “clone” stands in for me in various familiar contexts: in the studio, on the street I walk daily, next to objects I often use. In this way, I could observe from the outside whether I actually fit into the spaces I inhabit.

I realized that I don't see naturalness or harmony in my relationship with the space I live in. I feel out of place in it. That’s why I leave the "clone" in this project and continue living, trying to change the world around me for the better. What I cannot change, I will try to accept; what I cannot accept, I will try to ignore.
