Struggle and Humility
2019

Canvas, oil
Diptych, each canvas 70×100 cm
In these works, I depict the body in motion as a reflection of the inner struggle a person experiences with themselves—a fragile and complex process of self-acceptance. It is an attempt not only to confront one’s shadows and contradictions, but to find strength within them, and to begin seeing oneself not as an enemy, but as an ally. Through tense, distorted poses and gestures, I aimed to convey moments of vulnerability, resistance, and, ultimately, the desire for inner reconciliation.

The paintings complemented the interior of the Europlast stand at the MosBuild 2021 exhibition.
